Patagonia is a store that is committed to preserving our environment by encouraging people to spend times outdoors, joining and supporting environmental organizations and purchasing large tracts of land in South America to keep them from being developed. The store was founded by climbers and the staff practices what they preach, as it seems everyone there climbs, hikes, surfs, skis and more.
Come by to say hi, shop the high quality apparel and support this worthy place this Saturday, December 22, at the Patagonia store at 316 Congress Avenue. I’ll be signing copies of my book, “Living Witness: Historic Trees of Texas,” from 2-5pm.
Have a green Christmas.
